    Geoffrey Diner grew up in Buffalo, New York where leaders of the American Arts & Crafts Movement’s work was revered, with endless living examples available for inspiration. Early on, Geoffrey pursued his interest in the Arts & Crafts contemporaries in California, from Greene + Greene’s Japan inspired masterpieces of Arts & Crafts design in Pasadena to California Dutch American artisan Dirk van Erp and their contemporaries.
     
    In the early 1980s, Geoffrey helped to propel praise and recognition of the finest examples from the American and British Arts & Crafts Movement, assisting museums and collectors. The gallery, led by Geoffrey and Maureen Diner since 1988, traverses genres and periods , and today Geoffrey Diner Gallery’s status as a preeminent source of post-war art and design is borne of its founders initial motivations and nearly 40 years of experience in the art and design market.
