Overall in very good condition. The Turtle-Back tiles are beautifully iridized and display a luminous amber gold. All of the Turtle-Back tiles appear original and undisturbed. The mounts display a deep charcoal patina, creating a dramatic contrast with the warm glow. The patinated bronze surfaces present with scattered minor surface scratches, wear and discolorations, consistent with age and gentle handling, as well as some occasional oxidation and traces of surface soiling concentrated to the recessed contours of the design. With period sockets. A rare pair of sconces with superb turtle-back glass selection and striking visual presence.
